My Favorite Book-to-Film Adaptations (And Books I Would Love to See Adapted)

There are a lot of book-to-film adaptations out there in the film industry. A lot. And some of them are. . . well, to put it nicely, not the best. In a Let’s Talk Bookish post I did a little while ago on book-to-film adaptations, I listed some of the ones I enjoyed, and then realized that there are a lot more than I thought. So, I am telling you all my favorites! Most of the list will be movies but there are some TV shows sprinkled in there. So, let’s get started! Something to note: I’ve seen a lot more book-to-film adaptations that I loved than are on this…

Hey, everyone! I hope you’re all doing well. Today’s post is later than when I normally post, but I didn’t have time yesterday, so I finished it this morning. It’s been a while since I’ve done one of these. The last time I did a TTT was in March. But I always like doing anticipated releases posts, so I thought I’d participate in this one. I have a lot of books I’m looking forward to releasing in the next few months. Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme hosted by Jana @ That Artsy Reader Girl where there is a topic and you make a list that best fits it. Today’s topic…

Hey, everyone! I hope you’re all doing well. This post is later than usual, I’ve been kind of swamped with schoolwork, and haven’t had a lot of time. The Mysterious Benedict Society Book Tag (Original!)

When I found out that the Mysterious Benedict Society series was getting a TV show, I was very excited. I’m sad the first season only has eight episodes, but they’re all done very well, so I’m not complaining. So, in (very late) honor of the Mysterious Benedict Society book series TV show getting released on Disney+, I decided to make a tag surrounding it! I was honestly a little nervous to post this, because I’ve never made a tag before and I don’t want to mess anything up, but I figured that it would be really fun to share with you all, so I gave it a go. A few…

Mid Year Book Freak Out Tag

Hey, everyone! I hope you’re all doing well. Can you believe it’s already mid-2021?! Cause I can’t. I swear 2021 only started a little while ago. I’ve seen a few variations of this tag and I couldn’t possibly answer all the prompts, so I did the ones that I wanted to talk about. General Books read: 28Reading goal: 28/75Average rating: 4.2Most read genre: Contemporary I am pretty behind on my reading goal, as you can see. I’ve never tracked my reading before, but now that I am, it’s actually a lot of fun. Making spreadsheets is very satisfying and it suits my liking of perfection. I’m kind of surprised that…

Hey, everyone! I hope you’re doing well. I haven’t posted in a week, but that’s because I was camping with my family in a place without Wi-Fi, so I couldn’t do anything. The (Very Late) Book Blog Newbie Tag

Hello, everyone! I probably should’ve done this as my first tag, but my organization of posts is not that great. I’ve been blogging for a little over three months, so this is very late, but I still thought I should do it. I’ve seen a variety of people do this, and it looks like a lot of fun. So, without further ado, the questions. Why did you want to start a book blog? I started thinking about beginning a book blog sometime last year. On the NaNoWriMo YWP, there was a thread where you could share your blogs. I was looking at it and clicked through some other people’s blogs.…

International Women’s Day ~ Strong Female Characters in YA Literature

Hello, everyone! I know that International Women’s Day was two days ago, so I’m late for this, but I saw Ritz @ Living, Loving and Reading do a post like this and I thought I would do my own version. So today, I have a list of strong female characters in YA literature. Alanna of Trebond ~ The Song of the Lioness Alanna is such a great character! She’s strong and she isn’t afraid to stand up for what she believes in. She’s ambitious and doesn’t let people get in the way of what she wants to accomplish. “Alan, you seem to think we won’t like you unless you do…
