Bookish Fun

2023 Reading Challenges

Happy New Year, everyone!! I can not believe that we are officially in 2023. This past year went by way too fast; it literally feels like the beginning of 2022 was only a couple weeks ago.

This year, I decided to participate in a few reading challenges. I’ve never done one before and they always look like a lot of fun, so I decided to try some this year. For 2023, I’ll be doing the 12 Reading Challenge, Beat the Backlist, and Let Us Read Middle Grade.

The 12 Reading Challenge

I know I shouldn’t be adding more books to my TBR, but I also love getting book recommendations, so I’ll be fine, right? Some of these I haven’t heard of and some have been on my TBR. Thank you to everyone who recommended books!

Let Us Read Middle Grade

website for more information

There are no specific prompts or requirements for what books you can read, so I just compiled a list of ten middle grade books I’d like to read in 2023. If I end up reading more than ten MG books, I’ll be even happier, but for now, this is what I’m aiming for.

Are you participating in any reading challenges this year? Which ones?
Have you read any of the books I mentioned?
