Bookish Fun

Bookish Merchandise I Own and Merch I Want

Hey, everyone! I hope you’re all doing well. I was looking at bookish merchandise the other day (because who doesn’t want that?) and it got me thinking that I could do a post on it. So, today I will be sharing the bookish merch that I have and some that I want to have.

I’m linking where you can buy these for most of the products. I don’t know where some of them are from (they were gifts) so I won’t be able to link those.

Merch I Own

The Lightning Thief necklace

I’m pretty sure this was given to me either for a birthday or Christmas. This kind of necklace I don’t wear since the book is a bit heavy. I have it in my shadow box that’s hanging on my wall. That’s why it doesn’t have a chain. I took it out and don’t know where it is.

The Princess Bride playing cards

I had a Princess Bride themed birthday party when I turned thirteen and these were some of the things we had leftover afterwards. To be honest, I don’t think I’ve even used the playing cards. I should, though because I think they would be really fun to play with.

Wonder t-shirt

Wonder Unisex T-Shirt on Out of Print

Wonder, as you all know, is one of my all-time favorite books and this shirt with the cover on it is great. I don’t usually wear this shirt during the day. I don’t really know why, but it’s become one of my pajama shirts.

Harry Potter collection

Disclaimer: I know J.K. Rowling isn’t popular at the moment and that she’s said harmful things. This merch was bought before she voiced her opinions. As an AAPI and a sibling of someone who is trans, I don’t agree with her views. I contemplated leaving these out, but I can’t deny that Harry Potter was a huge part of my childhood. I do hope that J.K. Rowling will educate herself so it won’t be so uncomfortable to have been an HP fan.

The Burrow Metal Earth
Golden Snitch Metal Earth
Hogwarts Express Metal Earth

I was looking in my room and I realized that I have a lot of Harry Potter things. Like, a lot. I found 11 HP themed pieces of merch. Harry Potter was a huge part of my childhood, so naturally, I acquired little knickknacks over the years. I think my favorite out of the collection are the metal earths. I made these a few years ago and there were so fun to do. The Hogwarts Express was definitely the hardest one; I broke some of the pieces while making it, so I have the good side facing out.

Merch I Want

“Introverted but willing to discuss books” sweater

Introverted But Willing To Discuss Books Sweatshirt by NineToNone on Etsy

This is so me. I may be shy, but I will discuss books with anyone. Not a lot of my friends are as bookwormish as I am, so I take any opportunity I have to ramble about books with someone.

Stickers

Emotionally Attached to Fictional Characters by Just smile on Redbubble
Heartstopper Leaves by soph 🙂 on Redbubble
Novel in Progress by Potions on Redbubble

Everyone loves stickers, right? I’d put these on my water bottle, with the Heartstopper leaves placed randomly around. I get way too emotionally attached to fictional characters. Like, it’s not okay. I fall in love with them and then am devastated when something happens to them. The novel in progress sticker is very relatable. My novel has been in progress for the past three years.

Book Earrings

Aren’t these so cute? They’re made out of plastic and silver so they should be pretty lightweight. They come in a ton of different colors, which I think is so cool!
