Percy Jackson and the Olympians TV Show Review

Hey, everyone! Since all of the episodes for the Percy Jackson TV show are out, and I have watched them all, I wanted to write a review for it. I have been waiting for this show for years, and now that I’ve seen it, I have a lot of thoughts. There will be TV show spoilers in this review! The first two episodes were not my favorite. There was a lot of condensed information, and it was very fast-paced. There are a lot of book-to-film adaptations out there in the film industry. A lot. And some of them are. . . well, to put it nicely, not the best. I thought this discussion was an appropriate one, seeing as I recently finished the film adaptation. Let’s Talk Bookish is a weekly meme created by Rukky @ Eternity Books and hosted by Aria @ Book Nook Bits where we…

54 Thoughts I Had While Watching Heartstopper

I HAVE FINALLY WATCHED IT!! I read the entirety of Heartstopper a little while ago (I can’t wait for Volume 5!) because I am very much a “book before film” person. Afterwards, I couldn’t wait to watch the show because everyone was raving about it. Instead of writing a composed and fully thought-out review, I am sharing my unfiltered thoughts I had while watching Heartstopper. Most of time, it was just me obsessing over how adorable Charlie and Nick are and comparing the scenes in the film to the book. And yes, I know 54 thoughts are a lot, but they’re very short. I also drew this digital art portrait…
